Description
This device consists of a weatherproof PIR motion sensor and a portable receiver unit. Here’s how it works:
- PIR Motion Sensor: The PIR motion sensor is placed outdoors in a strategic location, such as near the entrance to your camping area or caravan. It has a wide detection range and is designed to pick up motion within its field of view.
- Wireless Transmission: When the PIR sensor detects motion, it wirelessly transmits a signal to the receiver unit. The wireless range typically varies, but it can extend up to 8-10m.
- Portable Receiver Unit: The receiver unit is battery-powered and portable. It can be carried around with you, allowing you to have it nearby wherever you are in your camping area or caravan. When the receiver unit receives the signal from the PIR sensor, it triggers an audible alert to notify you of the detected motion. The Receiver is Sold separately.
